1. Booking Steps
- Book your connecting flight:
Book a return or multi-city Etihad Airways flight that connects through Abu Dhabi. - Select your hotel:
Go to Etihad’s stopover webpage, enter your flight booking reference and surname, and choose your preferred hotel from their list of partners. - Receive your voucher:
Once your reservation is complete, Etihad will email you a free hotel voucher to present when you check in.

Key Terms and Conditions
- Duration
The standard free stopover package covers 1 to 2 nights (24-48 hours) in Abu Dhabi. - Accommodation
The free program includes selected 3-star and 4-star hotels. If you want a 5-star hotel, Etihad offers a “Premium Stopover” option for a discounted rate. - Timing
You must book your hotel at least three days before your flight to Abu Dhabi to ensure availability. - Credit Card Requirement
You will need to provide a credit card to guarantee your room reservation. You will only be charged if you do not arrive at the hotel. - Visas
The hotel stay does not automatically grant you entry into the UAE. You are responsible for arranging any necessary transit visas before you travel. - Extra Perks
Booking a stopover gives you access to a complimentary Stopover Pass, which includes a free tourist eSIM and discounts on local attractions.
