It’s a biographical museum situated in the Heliopolis district of Cairo. Opened in 2016 on the anniversary of his death, the museum is housed in the former two-story modernist villa where Egypt’s second president lived with his family throughout his 18 years in power.
The museum’s layout is designed to reflect both the president’s intimate family life and his broader historical impact, divided into three main exhibition tracks (The Private Residence, A People’s Story and The Collectibles Hall)
In addition to the main exhibits, the property features a specialized library dedicated to literature and studies surrounding Nasser’s life and Egypt’s post-colonial history.
