EgyptAir is expanding its map, adding brand-new destinations and bringing back some highly anticipated routes. Whether you’re looking for a tropical escape, a European city break, or a journey across the globe, here are five new spots you can now fly to with much more convenience.
1. Zanzibar, Tanzania 🇹🇿
Ready for crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches? Zanzibar is officially on the map. Flights have already taken off starting September 4th, running twice a week on Fridays and Sundays.
2. Birmingham, UK 🇬🇧
If the UK is calling your name, skip the extra connections. Direct flights to Birmingham will begin on October 27th, operating four times a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
3. Venice, Italy 🇮🇹
This one is, without a doubt, a personal favorite! As part of their latest European expansion, EgyptAir has officially added the stunning canals and historic streets of Venice to their lineup.
4. Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪
Planning a winter wonderland escape? Direct flights straight to Stockholm-Arlanda Airport will launch on December 18th. You’ll have four flights a week to choose from, making Scandinavian travel smoother than ever.
5. Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺
This is the big one we’ve all been waiting for. After putting flights on hold back in 2002, EgyptAir is finally returning to Australia in early 2027!
Here is the best part: it will be the only airline directly connecting North Africa to Sydney, with just one quick transit in Singapore. Even better for aviation lovers, this route will operate on the ultra-modern Airbus A350-900, guaranteeing a much faster and smoother travel experience.
